Ted Bundy Conviction Relived In New Book
Allen, Dekle & Noland
Ken Allen
Lake City Former Assistant State Attorney Bob Dekle played a crucial part in the conviction of serial killer Ted Bundy.  Bundy was accused of the murder of 12-year old Kimberly Leach, of Lake City, on a cold and rainy day in February 1978.  Dekle was the man who led the prosecution in the case.  In 1989, Bundy was executed for that crime in Florida's electric chair.  Dekle has written a text book chronicling the case.  It's called "The Last Murder: The Investigation, Prosecution and Execution of Ted Bundy."  Dekle was a guest of 96.5 the Jet, WJTK's North Florida Today show to talk about the case and the book.  The interview is below.
