DOH-Hamilton Highlights Recent Efforts In Providing COVID-19 Vaccine

JASPER, FL — The Florida Department of Health in Hamilton County has issued a statement concerning distribution of COVID-19 vaccines. It reads as follows:
 
"The Florida Department of Health in Hamilton County, in partnership with the Florida Department of Health, Florida Division of Emergency Management and Hamilton County Board of County Commissioners is providing COVID-19 vaccination sites. In an effort to keep Florida residents and visitors safe and aware regarding the status of the virus, the Florida Department of Health in Hamilton County will continue to issue this update every week.
County health departments have an important role to play in administering vaccine. Here’s a summary of some of our top efforts this week.
• Provided 2,399 vaccinations (1,329 first dose and 1070 second dose) to date in Hamilton County
• Partnered with Hamilton County Commission for logistical support
The Florida Department of Health in Hamilton County continues to fight to protect health and safety as the rollout of COVID-19 vaccine continues.
